In the annals of human history there are records of the GREAT PLAGUE . In the 14th century it wiped out nearly half the population of Europe ( or a quarter, statistics are not too reliable )
WE continue to party like the doomed people in Poe's " The Masque of the Red Death "
" But outside was the Red Death " .
It is now beginning to seem like SCIENCE was also a GOD THAT FAILED .
