How degenerate is the neo-liberal Democratic Party. It quickly corrupts even stalwart " progressives " never mind " democratic socialists ". Perhaps there are more efficient ways to perhaps slightly improve " OUR way of life " , " OUR democracy " than via the RIGGED two party system.
GOOD people are routinely corrupted by All-American " politics ". I note that a generation ago " progressive " Democrats would at least put in a word for WORLD PEACE . But the HATE RUSSIA , New McCarthyism has infected the hard core of the Democratic Party.
What is constructive about this HATE TRUMP hysteria ? I suspect all this demented energy that goes into THE RESISTANCE would be better channeled into some Great Crusade religious movement.
Even the rabid " socialist " sectarians on the Left will get nowhere with their anti-Christian, anti-Catholic attitude. ALL the sects have a permanent GREAT LEADER worshipped by the subservient "Clears " ( as in the Church of Scientology ). The GREAT LEADER is the last person on earth to preside over any " withering away of the State ".
Nor will THE PARTY attract members by calling for the " dictatorship of the Proletariat ". I never met a working class American in my life who wanted that, who languished with a longing for DICTATORSHIP .
I do think that some form of Christian Socialism can help construct a better, kinder " way of life ".
I could conclude with a very politically incorrect " God Bless America " but the famous singer Kate Smith has just been demonized and " vaporized " ( as in Orwell's " 1984 " ) as a despicable racist. I guess UNMASKING history is a profitable vocation. Who is next ?
