I am a lifelong INDEPENDENT democratic socialist . I consider anybody opposed to rotten capitalism an ally. For good reasons most sectarian socialist groups disappoint me in their PR skills -if nothing else. They disappoint me in resembling the " Clears " of the Church of Scientology.
While fighting fascism perhaps David North and his comrade " Joe Williams " can explain here why SOCIALIST Ron Ruggieri was smeared as the " resident Catholic, anti-Semite , fascist " on the World Socialist Web Site. Then suddenly BANNED . My own blog is independent of anybody's web site. My position on Zionism is hardly different from the SEP's .
I do think crude hostility to Christianity and foaming at the mouth hostility to the Roman Catholic Church can only isolate ANY socialist party or organization aspiring to LEAD the masses, aspiring to VANGUARD PARTY status. Also even the socialist Left is hardly defending the FREE SPEECH tradition of Western Civilization. [ Take care of those blue eyes in sunny Berkeley ]
