Good rabbis voice support for striking Shop& Stop workers
" Some New England rabbis are advising their congregations not to cross picket lines to get their Passover essentials at Stop & Shop supermarkets, which have deep roots in the local Jewish community."
I commend these good rabbis for supporting working class people on strike against Stop& Shop . Note that the striking workers - so DIVERSE - are not fodder for " identity politics " pandering . Here it is all about CLASS.
Certainly educated Jews are aware of THEIR democratic socialist tradition -going back to the Great Depression of the 1930s - in the Jewish community.
Joe Biden shows up supporting a CLASS issue. Some " critical support " for him here for now. But the Democratic Party is famous for being treacherous " friends of labor ".
