A separate Palestinian, Islamic ( ? ) state side by side a hostile Zionist state is not a viable political construction. Nobody on the democratic Left questions Israel's " right to exist " but NOT as a racist Apartheid state. Indeed a JEWISH state contradicts the ABCs even of bourgeois democracy. How can " OUR democracy " support it ?
It is hard to believe that modern Israel has been settled by Jews fleeing from oppression, persecution ( even poverty ? ) all over the world, even fleeing from oppression in New York City.
Somehow Jews and Palestinians must learn to get along in a modern SECULAR Democratic state that tolerates ALL the world's great religions.
