Naturally democratic socialists support the striking Stop & Shop workers . The American working class must strengthen organized labor . They would be wise not to fatally embrace the treacherous " friends of labor " in the Democratic Party.
The capitalist ruling class will use its control of the mainstream news media to smear and villify the striking workers . THEIR wonderful economic system is based on lies and brutality.
In the midst of a mind boggling stock market boom the employers and THEIR state are crying " poverty " : " We just can't afford this " - a decent living wage for workers or non-toxic public school buildings for the future working class.
If working class people don't FIGHT BACK ,life for them will once again become " NASTY , BRUTISH, and SHORT ".
