I just heard TV news reporter Gene Valicenti confirm what I overheard on a RIPTA bus a few days ago: The woman who was -recklessly-run over by a RIPTA bus on Broad St. in Providence last May has died of her injuries . From the beginning RIPTA tried to blame the victim. RIPTA says it was a tragic accident. But does RIPTA have the final say about its more and more frequent bus fatalities ?
The local news media here failed to show any sympathy or even any curiosity about the young black woman, Bobbie Moore. She was treated as non-person even in death . No death notice ? Perhaps RIPTA could at least pay for Bobbie Moore's obituary.Inspired from youth by Albert Camus' sense of the Absurd, I try to be a voice for REASON in the growing darkness and moral insanity of global capitalism .

At least RIPTA could pay for Bobbie Moore's obituary !
Just an accident ? Or vehicular homicide ?
Shame on Scott Avedisian and his flunkey Barbara Polichetti for their cover up of vehicular homicide.
I wrote last May in my blog [http://radicalrons.blogspot.com] that if Bobbie Moore dies, RIPTA should have a serious legal problem.
Her story should be featured in your series " Race in Rhode Island ".
