At the height of the Cold War the U.S. ruling class made a somewhat sincere effort to convince the world that our American Way of Life could defeat both poverty and Soviet communism.
The collapse of the Soviet Union did NOT vindicate greedy Wall Street capitalism.
Greed is NOT good ! Democratic socialists in every country never lost faith in their own ideals and the LOGIC OF HISTORY.
