The present crazy nation
state system of the world was a main cause- more than one hundred years
ago- of the Great War which gave us " the horror of Verdun ". And the
Great War -with its crazy Versailles Treaty- gave us a greater war,
World War II with its Nazi Germany and the Holocaust.
We should welcome these Syrian refugees into the United States. But why are we so indifferent to the homeless CITIZENS we already have ? Perhaps Karl Marx was right-the workers of the world have no country .
