I find political hack Scott Avedisian a lot less charming after
hearing him blame the victim for a RIPTA bus tragedy last May. I
learned of the death of Bobbie Moore a few days ago. I reported it to
Gene Valicenti. I guess Lifespan verified it and Bobbie Moore's death
was reported on the evening news.
I said to Valicenti that if eye witness statements were accurate , RIPTA should face a charge of vehicular homicide.

driver has been disciplined after he was apparently caught looking at
pornography on his cell phone at a bus stop.
THAT was the TV news Channel 12 headline on Sept.5. So RIPTA will not tolerate a bus driver peeking at porn on his cell phone. But a reckless driver- guilty of vehicular homicide- gets a free bus pass ?
