There is a whole den of thieves- the U.S. Congress- that daily
violates ALL of God's Ten Commandments. That water in the Pope's glass
is NOT holy water unless it had previously been blessed. Blessed or not,
it is probably drinking water polluted by very unholy capitalist
industry.
The Pope said at the beginning of his papacy : " The carnival is over ! ". Not quite. How can Francis's inevitable " celebrity " not be disgustingly vulgarized in America's " Culture of Narcissism " ? FOR SALE - papal sunglasses-now just 10 dollars discounted.
After the Sacred Carnival our great leaders will all return to the political pig pen. After all, " the business of America is business ".
" Materialism " is rightly defined as the worship of " matter ( THINGS ) in motion. " Who will end up owning the Pope's Holy Fiat ? Blessed is he !
A good man Pope Francis. Could he right now feel a certain longing for the slums of Latin America ? There is something touching about poverty and naive -or ignorant- innocence. Jesus would understand.
