Nobody seems to notice that the leading candidate of the Republican Party himself has a fascist profile. " The Donald " is right out of the Sinclair Lewis novel : " It Can't Happen Here ".
As a democratic Socialist-and a critical supporter of Democrat Bernie Sanders, I can say that I would not mind seeing Eleanor Roosevelt's kind face on our next president's White House desk. And to the left of her picture, one of Eugene V. Debs.
On President Trump's desk will be a picture of Ayn Rand - the Republican Queen of Mean.
