One eye witness to the accident said " She[ Bobbie Moore ] was banging on the bus so she could get on, and he[ the RIPTA bus driver ] just kept going slowly and then he ran right over her, and he HAD TO STOP BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS SCREAMING " ( Pauline Goss- who had just gotten off the bus ) .
A RIPTA rider said this in a May 30 ,2014 article : " If I am tapping on the side of the bus, show me a little courtesy ".
" Some [bus drivers ] are rude and arrogant ", said Jackie Baker of Providence , " they seem to forget that they are public servants ".
Question : Is RIPTA permitted to just investigate itself in these bus accident fatalities ? Can the public view the RIPTA films ?
Is Scott Avedisian a PROJO pet ? Barbara Polichetti was a long time employee of the Providence Journal. Not quite a free spirit !
Why such shabby journalism here ? Consider the different treatment for that middle class white lady hit by a flying bat at Fenway Park. There was even a fund raiser for her! If SHE had died ,the state flags of R.I. and Mass. would have been flown at half mast.
