I wish to commend lawyer and ACTIVIST Shannah Kurland for her courageous support for the homeless people in Kennedy Plaza, Providence. The police are all too quick to defend business owners and PRIVATE PROPERTY rights everywhere. They are invariably hostile to poor and working class people. And are pit bulls against striking union people.
An irony of irrational capitalism: right next to that Kennedy Plaza CVS store is a VACANT Superman Building. A socialist government would evict the landlord and house the homeless people there.
Sacrosanct private property rights keep people homeless.
After the Revolution Shannah Kurland will serve as our Minister of Justice in Providence.
