The biotech company failed for the usual reason that capitalist investment fails: a lack of profitability. And 50 skilled employees in work as objectively important to HUMANITY as DNA sequencing are now jobless.. Does not the present enthusiasm for the " socialist " Democrat Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont suggest that there is something profoundly flawed about the Wall Street view of economics ?
A good highly skilled worker gets to EARN A LIVING only so long as he or she can be exploited by the morally obtuse owners of Kapital ?
Much extolled COMPETITION is not making this a better happier world. It is making life a living hell for all the people who would rather CO-OPERATE.. Not every skilled professional is eager to step on the faces of the competition.And being BRILLIANT does not overcome the contradictions of the FOR PROFIT economic system.If you are a woman politician , it just gives you an arrogant attitude.
