Nail holding the station got wet... nail is in the center of the photo, just as the cross is... common sense.. No need for anything else. No mystery. No "Oh my gosh it's GOD"... That piece of toast does not look like Mary through some divine intervention.

You must try to empathize with millions of quite intelligent people who believe in spiritual reality.YOU think it is rust in the same sense that young George Gamow thought that Holy Communion was just bread and wine. Common Sense just may not be the key to ultimate reality. Even the higher forms of materialism insist that A does not always = A , a pillar of Formal Logic.
