I applaud this article on American racism as part of the generalized
CLASS oppression in America. Not surprisingly American socialists are
more not less sensitive to decidedly racial forms of oppression.
Also, clearly mentally disturbed individuals are not getting the care and attention they need here. Our mental health system stinks. No doubt the capitalist system mass produces insane individuals.
I believe that the de-institutionalization of mentally ill in the United States- beginning about 50 years ago - was a crime against humanity.
Just take a look at the face of 21 year old Dylann Storm Roof. Is it not drug crazed and mentally disturbed ? Was he a patsy - a comic book Neo-Nazi right out of " The Manchurian Candidate " ?
Could a high school drop out have written his published racist " manifesto " ?
