You will get an honest
discussion on RACE only from people who call themselves Socialists.
Socialists for more than two centuries have explained odious human
inequality with reference to the economic structure of society-with
CLASS relationships. The root of racism in American society is CLASS
oppression and exploitation.
More black youths are shot dead by killer cops under the banner of Old Glory than under the flag of the southern Confederacy. And why ? Because poor black youths are more likely to commit petty crimes against sacrosanct private property.
You can outlaw the N-word and the Confederate flag. But that does not change socio-economic and political reality.
More poor blacks are hurt by government cutbacks than by any overt racism. You cannot even ride in the back of a RIPTA bus if they cancel your bus pass.
They ( the voice of the ruling class ) tell poor blacks and poor whites to GET AN EDUCATION. Then they cancel public school funding.
Poor blacks and poor whites have the dubious privilege of SERVING their country in the military : make the world safer for the American ruling class.
