Plato's idealism and Lenin's materialism

    Spoken like a true philosopher. Who ever thought that the ancient Greek philosopher Plato would enter into a political correctness controversy ?
I don't agree with Lenin's ruthless attack on idealistic philosophy in his now very obscure work " Materialism and Empirio Criticism " .But Lenin too recognized that the fundamental reality for human beings exists independently of MIND. The mind of God is not -in any practical way- relevant to practical science.
Show me a New Atheist who has Lenin's passion for social justice. In fact, how many New Atheists in America would vote socialist ? ( Bernie Sanders ?
