NPR's Scott Mackay respects a respectable presidential candidate, Lincoln Chafee

Scott Mackay's NPR column on Lincon Chafee

I am very pleased as " a guy on the left " that NPR's Scott MacKay respects this perfectly respectable LIBERAL Democrat, candidate for president of the United States, Lincoln Chafee. But let's get our political spectrum straight Scott: Chafee is to the right of " socialist " Bernie Sanders. But Sanders is actually to the right of the " leftist" Ralph Nader. All three " progressives " named here are to the right of third party socialists and communists who did not give up the ghost after the collapse of the Stalinist Soviet Union. They have been known to the world for decades as democratic socialists.
Being pragmatic I respect any " progressive " who understands the world crisis of global capitalism. What amazes me is that both President Obama and Hillary make New Deal FDR look like a flaming Bolshevik.
And Lincoln Chafee actually distinguished himself by his quaint internationalism : Yes, let us GO METRIC in America.That issue is behind a number of NASA disasters.
