Why not declare war on HATRED ?
Talk about " pure evil " really throws no light on the roots of evil. Racial
hatred in present day America is inseparable from obscene social
inequality. People don't " hate " in a social and cultural vacuum. The
ONE PERCENT who own America may not " hate " the rest of us. But they
have no intention of sacrificing their class privilege for some " crazy
" socialist ideas. They will not send a check to the Bernie Sanders
campaign. Nor will they ever present Ralph Nader with an Outstanding
Citizen Award.
But why not just DECLARE WAR ON HATRED anyway ?
