Right- wing Talk Radio is always associating this oh- so politically correct war on Christian traditions-indeed on FAITH in general, often enough on the very idea of God-always associating this war with some generic LEFT. As a democratic socialist myself -who still " identifies " with my family's Catholic religion (just as any politically liberal or radical Jew might identify with the Jewish tradition) I completely reject this brainless hostility to the world's great religions-including, of course, Islam.
By the way, I have never met an individual associated with neurotic and obsessive political correctness -and endless " taking offense "- who was not what any Marxist would call a " petty bourgeois snob " - also hostile to the very ideal of Socialism.
Amazing but true : POLITICAL CORRECTNESS IS THE VERY INVENTION OF THE RULING CLASS.
Or some ruling class THINK TANK .
