So Ted Cruz thinks SCIENTISTS-experts in their field-don't know what
they are talking about ? Just WHO is more likely to be corrupted in
their careers - politicians always on the take OR conscientious , often
brilliant, modest living scientists who must do their research under
rigid standards and be scrutinized by other scientists around the
world-who could not possibly share the same political agenda ?
Professional " intellectuals " -including journalists, teachers,even clergy-are much more stultified by ruling class pressure than working scientists. It would be self-destructive for the capitalist ruling class to scoff at science and technology. But the closer the findings of science come to hurting PROFITS the more nervous powerful sectors of the ruling class become.
When it comes to human society the ruling class actually encourages obfuscation and outright superstition- often just plain lies.
They don't dare apply the scientific method to study of the capitalism, to human history. They encourage their ideological flunkies to warm up the same old phrases-objectively meaningless - that get us into war : FREEDOM, LIBERTY, INDIVIDUALISM, SOVEREIGN NATION, LANDLORD RIGHTS, INHERITANCE RIGHT.
But TRUTH is invariably subversive. You fight TRUTH by owning and controlling the mass communication media -like the Koch Brothers. Ask Bernie Sanders.
