The violent rape of a completely uninterested female is criminal, of
course. But this is not so easy to PROVE in a law court in the case of
Bill Cosby. Modern feminism had its very roots in the Socialist
movement. And a rather well known socialist( SWP ) and feminist, Evelyn
Reed, explains the oppression of women as a sex in a one hour lecture(
1970 ) on You Tube.
Reed's position is that capitalism-not men in general- is the real enemy of women's liberation.
The sexist attitude toward women is encouraged by our capitalist, consumerist culture. Long ago advertising learned that " sex sells ". How many " normal " males can rise above all this manic sexual stimuli ? And even very aged males have to listen to those silly Viagra commercials on TV every night at supper time. The message : " Always be ready ! "
