Insane profit making for hepatitis C drug

   I do recall listening to radio and TV news ads saying that everybody in the baby boom generation should be tested for hepatitis C. Now I read this about drug profit lunacy. A real national health care plan-that really made health care a basic human right- would nationalize the pharmaceutical companies and dramatically take profit making out of our health care system. To be sure, no medical doctors or dentists should be allowed to refuse to see or treat Medicare and Medicaid patients. ALL for profit hospitals and nursing homes should be shut down and re-opened as NON-PROFIT health care institutions. We should also re-institutionalize mental hospitals for long term patients.
I don't expect "socialist " Bernie Sanders or neo-liberal Hillary Clinton to support this idea - in the interest of the vast majority of working class Americans.
Also., a lot of money can be saved for saner purposes by ending the foolish decades long WAR ON DRUGS .     *****
