Dave and I at night at Jerusalem Village in the Ocean State

[ "AUGUST 31, 1954 - HURRICANE CAROL Jerusalem - State Police cruiser abandoned by trooper Daniel L. O'Brien just before he was engulfed by water on Succotash Road.O'Brien was caught in rapidly rising water and radioed Hope Valley barracks that he was abandoning his car. He drowned only a few minutes after he warned two residents to leave the area. His body was found that night off Succotash Road in East Matunuck."] The Providence Journal NOTE : Our Ruggieri Family twin brother and sister , Stephen and Rita , were born at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Providence , Rhode Island on August 28, 1954 and were kept there a few days longer because of Hurricane Carol. We believe that the experience sharpened for later life their fine social skills .
