Like most principled socialists - including the more dogmatic Marxists - I won't be bullied into supporting " lesser evil " Democrats . My state of Rhode Island is run by " lesser evil " Democrats and NO SURPRISE it reeks of fascist style corruption.
How does a " stray " comment constitute a bullhorn ? It rubbed you the wrong way, did it not ? " I smell a dangerous deviationist ! ". ( I can get that from the Socialist Equality Party " clears " who remind me of the devoted members of the Church of Scientology) . Many " leftists " might have found my surplus paragraph instructive rather than have a petulant fit over it . " I'm going to call the monitor ! " Should not Chris Hedges have a say in removing any comment ? Or does some " shadow government " control even COMMENTS ?
Where do I mention " blassing " ? It sounds like a mockery of Christian preaching . On the left hostility to Christianity is nothing less than a social disease.
So many bourgeois " leftists " sound like pompous, self-important LAWYERS or university trained pedants. And they do not cherish the FREE SPEECH, FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization. What impressed me about Chris Hedges is his INDEPENDENT leftist writer voice. I HOPE I am not deceived.
