Inspired from youth by Albert Camus' sense of the Absurd, I try to be a voice for REASON in the growing darkness and moral insanity of global capitalism .

Blatant hostility to Christianity is self-defeating for various socialist parties
In trying to fight fascism too many self-described " socialist "
parties defeat their purpose by their blatant hostility to Christianity ,
to Catholicism in particular , to the religious perspective on life in
general. The biggest mistake of the old Soviet Union - even before its
Stalinist degeneration - was declaring itself " officially atheist ".
Also, any number of these " socialist " parties are accurately
described by former members as personalty cults far removed from "
democratic socialism ".
My views on socialism have been
tempered by George Orwell, Albert Camus , and now by Chris Hedges after
listening on You Tube to several of his speeches and interviews.
But Leon Trotsky was right : " socialism or barbarism "
