Scientists do not have the popularity and the influence that they had when I was a kid in the midst of the Sputnik Panic. The great Einstein himself explained why. They lack the INDEPENDENCE they enjoyed before the great wars of the 20th century.
Being subservient to POWER rots your brain and your soul. Joining the New Atheists and the
" God Haters " - like so many CELEBRITY scientists - isolates them from the common people with their instinctive belief in God.
And not a few famous scientists and popular science writers have been exposed as world class sexists .
Capitalism corrupts even SCIENCE
