We should welcome Robert Kennedy Jr.'s vaccine skepticism
Any science literate reader will appreciate the achievements of modern medicine. Just think how many lives saved by penicillin , by the polio vaccine. Still I was sad to see Robert Kennedy Jr. bashed by his still very prominent family for his skeptical lectures on various vaccines.
What feeds this skepticism in the THINKING PUBLIC -not the ignorant public- is the horrid, obnoxious daily advertising of clearly dangerous drugs ( " SEE YOUR DOCTOR " , so he or she can get payback ? ) on radio and TV .
Even the VIAGRA is a joke !
Medical Science will have more credibility if it divorces itself from the FOR PROFIT business.
We read about flu vaccines having a 60 percent failure rate but still the GOOD DOCTOR scolds school kids and senior citizens to get those shots.
The big drug company commercials during NBC, ABC , CBS news sound as phony as those old Kevin Trudeau late night infomercials. Trudeau is still in jail last time I checked.
