You don't need to be a " perfect world " fanatic to want to puke at the American two party system . Even Ralph Nader - a bourgeois legalist, no Lenin - was so right about the treacherous two party system.

 The Green Party could have been a good beginning, having more mass appeal than effete sectarian Marxist-Leninist-Trotskyist parties which never sink any roots into the real working class. 
The late Peter Camejo , a former leader of the Socialist Workers Party [ author of " How to Make a Revolution in the United States " back in 1968 ] ended up as Ralph Nader's running mate ( 2004 ? ).

 Camejo joked that he was like a watermelon ' green on the outside red on the inside ". Ralph Nader memorialized Peter Camejo with real affection.
