How can spirit of " truth digging " not reject the whole Kafkaesque Trump impeachment circus ? Here we see " liberal " Democrats sounding McCarthy era alarms about wicked Russia in the manner of the 1950s-1960s John Birch Society super-patriots. NOBODY writing for Truthdig catches the irony ?
I reject the very premises of Trump impeachment circus : that post-communist Russia is a threat to " OUR democracy " . Just WHO decided for WE THE PEOPLE that Russia is an ENEMY ? And, to be blunt , how many working class Americans give a damn ( to put it un-academically ) about the Ukraine ?
