If any person on the Left would read Engels classic " The Condition of the Working Class in England " ( written at the height of the Industrial Revolution ) he or she would be convinced that for almost two centuries in the advanced capitalist countries WAGE SLAVERY was as horrible and hopeless as black slavery here in the Old South.
What reparations are debated for these capitalist crimes against humanity ? As a lifelong independent socialist I think this drivel about " reparations " ( can you name the immediate victims ? ) is DNC based " identity politics " nonsense.
Apart from crude bar room level talk where is the evidence in SUBSTANCE for President Trump's white supremacist RACISM - never unmasked while he was a super-celebrity , popular with " liberal " Democrats , in the entertainment industry ?
Trump IS wildly popular in Apartheid Israel , loved by Netanyahu. But that is a more subtle matter.
CAPITALIST society in just functioning guarantees a vast multi-racial, multi ethnic, working class population separated from significant PRIVATE PROPERTY in the form of real estate and highly technical and expensive means of production.
According to this view the WHITE working class does not prosper only where it is ignorant , lazy, and stupid as there are no RACE barriers to social mobility . Also there are no LEGAL barriers . The bourgeois legal system does not even acknowledge economic class where all citizens are equal in the courts, before THE LAW .
