"To take power in 2021 in lieu of any real policy changes, the Democratic Party is banking on the deep animus toward President Trump " ( Chris Hedges above ).
I can understand decent people on the Left trying to make sense of the Kafkaesque Trump impeachment circus and the decidedly fascist tone of Trump pronunciamentos and daily " tweets ".
But I think in terms of REAL fascism the neo-con Democrats win the prize. I am reminded indeed of the infamous Moscow Trials of the 1930s . In no way was Trump elected president of the United States by any intrigue with Putin in Russia. " Corrupt Hillary ", " Hawk Hillary ", " Wall St. Hillary " did not win hearts and minds of working class voters in those pivotal Rust Belt states .
Now we see a tiny arrogant minority - mostly Zionist Jews with on chip on their shoulder for POST-COMMUNIST Russia - wanting to nullify a LEGITIMATE ( as bourgeois elections go ) American presidency .
I give credit to that " friend of Israel " ( also friend of torture ) " liberal " Democrat, famed legal scholar Alan Dershowitz , for showing professional integrity on Constitutional Law in the Trump impeachment trial in the Senate.
Dershowitz asks WHERE'S THE BEEF ? Where is Trump's Crime ? Without a named CRIME there can be no " obstruction of justice ". In the Ukraine affair the meddling of both Republican Trump and Democrats Biden & Son simply represents different faces of unregulated American capitalism and predatory American imperialism . Naturally Ukraine's " first Jewish president " would ally himself in NATO with the USA against post-communist Russia and with Zionist Apartheid Israel in the Middle East against world public opinion . Long ago the United Nations condemned Zionism as a form of racism.
" OUR democracy " would not benefit from a mockery of bourgeois democracy: a legitimate presidency nullified.
The " liberal " Democrats are flirting with bloody civil war - that has nothing to do with social justice.
