This slobbering over royalty has an obvious psychological explanation : The capitalist ruling class wants to brainwash the COMMON PEOPLE into thinking that THEY too rule by " divine right " if not so glamorous. As Marx said : " the ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class ". Hardly any graduate of a public school in the United States can even IMAGINE a social system not based on capitalist PRIVATE PROPERTY . Day and night the capitalist owned news media promote " OUR way of life " as the ONLY respectable way. What critical thinking skills are encouraged by radio , TV , movies, by the capitalist press ? Celebrity and royalty are promoted to stupefy the masses . Vacuous Hollywood celebrities and an army of APPROVED talk radio stars( find one critic of Zionism ! ) are used to bludgeon " public opinion " into a safe conformity with the ruling class world view.
