What can be very " progressive " indeed - and avoiding bloody chaos indefinitely - would be the institutionalization of a THREE PARTY SYSTEM in the USA
"His movement is built upon four central tenets " . As an independent democratic socialist I can agree with every point here. Just one glaring problem:the ruling capitalist class constructed TWO PARTY SYSTEM is designed to smother political revolution. The American working class politics needs a fresh foundation in a mass party . Call it an American Labor Party . The present Democrat Party is as unstable as a U-235 nucleus . No doubt a chunk of the disintegrated Democrat Party can be the nucleus of an American Labor Party with a CLASS basis similar to the British Labor Party. Unless militant sectarian Marxist parties ( you never know ! ) are right there is no prospect for anything resembling the Russian Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 in 2020 USA . What can be very " progressive " indeed - and avoiding bloody chaos indefinitely - would be the institutionalization of a THREE PARTY SYSTEM in the USA . These three parties would reflect the reality of an UPPER CLASS, a MIDDLE CLASS, a WORKING CLASS ( including the jobless and the destitute homeless ) . If MAJORITY RULE prevail's in " OUR Democracy " revised, guess the prospects for democratic socialism ?
