a democratic socialist-and a registered Democrat in Rhode Island- I am
delighted that film director Spike Lee has endorsed " socialist "
Democrat Bernie Sanders for president . I got Spike Lee's " message "
watching his great film based on the autobiography of Malcolm X - " X
".
In the last year of his life Malcolm X won the hearts of " progressive " young whites by making the connection between racism and capitalism, between the oppression of black people and U.S. imperialism.
Working class voters of ALL races and ethnic groups should listen to this " socialist Jew ", Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont . But Bernie should try a little harder to win the " peacenik " voters too.
NOTE : A poll here in Rhode Island predicts a comparable victory in the Democratic Primary to Bernie's recent victory in New Hampshire.
