a voter in Rhode Island- who voted for Senator Sheldon Whitehouse - I
am sure he speaks- and speaks from experience- about this crime against
humanity - perpetrated by unregulated capitalism which just lost its
best friend on the Supreme Court.
Is the writer also peeved at the Senator from Rhode Island for being a passionate crusader against Big Energy for its role in global climate change ? In a letter to the Providence Journal Senator Whitehouse compared rogue scientists who scoff at the consensus of global climate change experts with the hirelings of Big Tobacco after cigarette smoking was proven to be HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH back in 1965.
The conscience of humanity can't be bought. I am also beginning to worry about level of toxins in Rhode Island drinking water. Has it been tested for high levels of lead ? Why all this radio-TV advertising for rather expensive, private home, water filters ? Is not the less affluent population in Rhode Island entitled to safe drinking water ?
I know what answer I will get from Ayn Rand Republicans and the Rhode Island Center for Freedom and Prosperity. Ayn Rand wrote their cult classic " The Virtue of selfishness "
Not for nothing I will vote for Bernie Sanders in the Rhode Democratic Primary. Bernie should be very popular in Flint, Michigan.
