When did gay marriage become a human right ?

gay marriage debate in Indonesia   As a democratic Socialist , I respect the conclusion of this article : ” religious references should be the basis of the government’s decision to reject and refuse to recognize same sex marriage in our country “. No ” socialist ” will dare to impose his own will on the vast majority of religious people in his or her country -or anywhere else on the planet.
Just when did gay marriage suddenly become a HUMAN RIGHT ? When politically correct pseudo-leftists in New York City imagined that it was ? The civilized world was morally blind for 3000 years ? In very ” gay ” ancient Greece there was no consideration of gay marriage.
The news media rarely mentioned that Zionist Israel rejects both state recognized gay marriage and even civil unions. An orthodox Jew in Israel was worried about the wording of the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision. Did it not fail to reaffirm the ” freedom to practice religion ” ?
As a ” scientific socialist ” I am not personally opposed to gay marriage but I was disturbed by the intellectual dishonesty of those liberal Democrats promoting it . And these gay rights zealots did not hesitate to smear prominent Catholics ( like Bishop Thomas Tobin here in Rhode Island ) as ” haters “.
For many traditional socialists there was no need to sentimentalize and slobber over gay marriage-as if it were all about love and happiness. In truth state recognized gay marriage was just an extension of bourgeois marriage. Check out all those books on divorce in public libraries. One can easily conclude that marriage was all about money and property rights ( to hell with love ! ).

Still no gay marriage rights in Israel

No, as an American socialist I do not think that gay marriage is the great moral issue of our times.
