That obnoxious egomaniac Voice of Science , Neil deGrasse Tyson,
magnified his public celebrity some years ago by his curious ambition
to belittle poor little Pluto as not even a family member of our Solar
System. Now it seems that Tyson was just wrong. Read " Pluto may just in
fact be a planet after all " - according to Becky Feldman (sciencefiction.com ). The source of her 2014 post was the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics .
Isaac Asimov wrote a book about dear Pluto titled " The Double PLANET ". And I read somewhere he thought the debate about Pluto really being a planet was rather juvenile.
Anyway I am looking forward to that close up view of MY Pluto tonight.
If Rhode Island qualifies as a state of the United States , then certainly little Pluto still qualifies as a family member -a planet in the Solar System.
Now Neil deGrasse Tyson can go back to bashing the Holy Eucharist which is NOT really the body and blood of Jesus. Neil said Catholics were even dumber than scientologists.The VOICE OF SCIENCE here !
