Groucho Marx got it right : " Marriage is the leading cause of divorce ". And
this reminds me how intellectually dishonest most " politically correct "
liberals were in their vociferous -and sentimental-support for gay
marriage. The older generation of feminists-influenced by the historical
materialism of Karl Marx-were scathing critics of " bourgeois marriage
". These celebrity divorces-and soon there will be celebrity gay
divorces- just tell us what LEGAL state marriage is all about : money
and property.
In the future Socialist society nobody will request a marriage license from the state. The state will not exist. Love will be limited to lovers . The Church will still be around to bless them.
