All this asinine bragging about killing TOP TERRORIST LEADERS. The U.S. declared war against generic terrorism - now anybody who has an ATTITUDE toward U.S. hegemony in the world ? - many years ago. Is this a pivotal moment in that war ? Or just another bombastic Orwellian pronunciamiento ? I expect to read a similar story 15 years from today : TOP TERRORISTS KILLED by our heroic drone pilot aces. Clearly the war on terror is about as winnable as the war on drugs. If Martin Luther King were alive today, he would declare that WE are the greatest purveyors of terror on the planet. Happy Memorial Day !
