- I commend our Senator Sheldon Whitehouse for his dedicated effort to communicate the truth of human caused climate change to the American people. The famous science writer Isaac Asimov said way back in 1989 ( see You Tube clip ) that this was the big science news of the year. Asimov would have branded the right-wing detractors of Whitehouse " The Armies of the Night ".
The climate change deniers , of course, have FREE SPEECH rights too. But when you are the Koch brothers you can just buy the newspapers and TV and radio stations. You can buy the conscience of corrupt scientists and mislead uninformed editors and journalists.
In a letter to the Providence Journal a while back Senator Whitehouse likened these charlatan scientists to those in the pay of Big Tobacco back in the 60s. NO PROBLEM HERE.TAKE A PUFF AND IT'S SPRINGTIME AGAIN.
The enemies of environmentalism will bring more tragedy to humanity than a Silent Spring.
