I don't think America's cops are one bit more racist than the rest of
the population. But Socialists have understood for years that the main
job of the cops is to protect the few HAVES from the many HAVE-NOTS (of
all races and ethnic groups ) . All the " sensitivity " training in the
world won't change this .
The ONLY solution to routine police brutality is a more just , egalitarian social order. I hope my " socialist " friend , Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, now a Democratic presidential candidate, points out this ABC truth of socialism.
In general the U.S. military on a world scale is also very much dedicated to protecting the HAVES from the HAVE NOTS -not with cop weapons but with nuclear weapons. Ask the Palestinians !
