My only " insight " on this topic is this : so the State of Rhode
Island is " going in the wrong direction " ? Should any state of the
United States be permitted to go in the wrong direction ? Does it make
sense in the year 2015 that all the states of the United States should
exist as nearly semi-sovereign countries ? Why should there be no death
penalty in Rhode Island, for example, and 100 executions a year in Texas
? Why should gay marriage be legal in one state but not another ? Why
should one convicted felon get life without parole in one state and be
freed in another state in 15 years ? Why did Al Gore not win the 2000
election with the majority of the vote ?
A new Constitutional Convention should consider ABOLISHING THE FIFTY STATES OF THE UNITED STATES.
That is my INSIGHT for today.
