I have already commented that
I am pleased with the Senator Bernie Sanders-a democratic Socialist or a
socialist Democrat- entrance into the presidential race. Whatever
chance " socialism " has in capitalist drunk America will be established
peacefully and democratically-or not at all.
I read that the Senator from Vermont has a poster of Eugene V. Debs in his office. Debs also ran several impressive campaigns as a Socialist for president of the United States.
Oddly enough, Ralph Nader is presently more FAR LEFT than Bernie Sanders. His chosen running mate, Peter Camejo ( 2004 ) , was once considered ( in his SWP years ) by then California governor, Ronald Reagan , as " the most dangerous man in the country ".
It seems that Ralph-no champion of the two party system - is happy that Hillary will not go unchallenged in the Democratic Party.
I think that REAL DEMOCRACY in the next election will be championed only by the PEOPLE IN THE STREETS- who also VOTE.
Capitalism is in permanent crisis. And the people deserve some HOPE for a better, saner world.
