Did the Russian government-even under Stalin, ever consider how the mummified Lenin was a mockery of Lenin the living revolutionary? I can't imagine any dialectic materialist wanting himself embalmed. What would old Lucretius say? He would say return Lenin's mortal remains to the cosmos that gave them life.
The poet Lucretius way back in ancient Roman times wrote an immortal poem " On the Nature of Things." He believed in IMMORTAL ATOMS. True enough, in a constantly changing universe. But then maybe Plato was right too: only the MIND OF GOD is eternal.
That old rascal Stalin actually subverted communism by making Lenin into a god.
