Let me assume one point of connection with the late Mr. Skeffington-his love of baseball. As co-owner of the Pawtucket Red Sox he enjoyed the company of Red Sox president Larry Lucchino. ( a touching Irish-Italian friendship ) . Did it ever strike Mr. Skeffington-like a baseball on the head-that the way to make major league baseball widely popular again in New England is to lower ticket prices at the classic stadium Fenway Park ?
