The final explanation for ALL these police over-reaction horror stories was given by socialists more than a century ago when Eugene V. Debs was winning a million votes in a presidential election:
The police are the brutal protectors of the capitalist social order, the front line against " anarchy " or popular uprising . In every American city they are the pit bulls guarding PRIVATE PROPERTY rights.
Nothing heroic about serving the greedy masters of society . " Officer Friendly " will never tell the innocent school kids THAT !
