Where does the United States Constitution set up a permanent TWO PARTY system to dominate the political life of the nation ? I recall also that Supreme Court Judge Oliver Wendell Holmes thought that the Constitution did not decide upon any definite economic order. For that this conservative Bostonian was " smeared " as flirting with working class radicalism.
The Founding Fathers were head and shoulders above today's " liberal " Democrats and " conservative " Republicans . THE LAW must always be seen in the context of the times. The dead past cannot strangle the future. LIFE always means change evolutionary and revolutionary -and " punctuated equilibrium ".
